Mrs. Odil's Classroom Behavior Expectations
In an effort to help your child exhibit good classroom behavior, I will be using a chart system to remind each child visually of appropriate behavioral expectations. The chart system visually reminds students of their behavior and also allows students to self correct their actions along with the chance to move their magnet back to green. In addition to our school wide behavior plan, behavior expectations include:
1. Listen while the teacher is talking.
2. Follow directions quickly.
3. Be respectful.
4. Raise your hand to speak.
5. Be safe, be honest.
In our classroom, we will continually discuss these rules and their meaning. .
Additionally, I will reward positive behavior. Each day, students will have the opportunity to earn fuzzies. The more fuzzies the student collects, the bigger the prize. Inappropriate behavior will result in the withdrawal of a fuzzy from their bucket.
